Get ready to strap in and blast off with Professor Egghead Science Academy at ROCKET CAMP! Every day brings a new challenge as we discover the science behind rockets, planes and everything else soaring through the sky. Eggheads will create, build, and test different types of flying machines like helicopters, rockets, and planes. From bottle rockets soaring through air, parachutes safely floating back to earth, and chemical reactions displaying how these awesome machines work. At the end of the week, campers will earn their wings and graduate from Egghead Rocket Camp, ready to take to the skies!
$80 material fee payable to Professor Egghead on or before the first day of camp. Please bring a healthy lunch, snack and drink.
The City of Santa Monica continues to place the highest value on the health and safety of our community. Additional safety protocols and procedures such as social distancing and face masks may be implemented as directed by current LA County Department of Public Health Guidelines.
PRIORITY ONLINE REGISTRATION for Santa Monica residents begins Wednesday, January 26 at 6 a.m. Non-resident registration begins Wednesday, February 2 at 6 a.m. Online registration is required. Walk-in registration is not available.
REFUNDS - Camp refunds will be issued with medical documentation or if requested at least 5 calendar days prior to the first meeting. Refunds will be prorated. A $15.00 processing fee applies for each activity session refunded. Requests must be made by email to community.classes@santamonica.gov. Material fees are not discountable and are nonrefundable.and are nonrefundable.
REFUNDS FOR DUPLICATE/MULTIPLE ENROLLMENTS resulting from multiple registration submissions (at one or more offices or via online registration) will be subject to a $15.00 processing fee for each activity session refunded.
Makeups will not be offered for days missed by the student. All class dates, times, locations, and instructors are subject to change without notice.
