About This Activity
Does your child sing and dance around the kitchen? Do they yearn to express their creativity? Do they need a little extra nudge to come out of their shell? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you should sign your child up for dance class! I am thrilled to be offering an after school dance class to students in grades 3-5! If we have not had the chance to meet yet - I am Isabelle Scott, the new lower school math teacher. Aside from math, a passion of mine is dance. This class will be a combination of ballet, jazz, lyrical and hip hop! Each class will start out with stretching and working on flexibility, then focus on specific dance techniques, followed by learning a choreographed routine. There will be a culminating performance to wrap up the season. This is an amazing opportunity for students to express themselves, make new friends, develop the mind-body connection, and achieve physical fitness!
