About This Activity
Students will explore balls used in sports. Students will determine the common shape of a ball used in sports and compare the size, weight, and materials of various balls. Students will also discover the impact of gravity on the speed of balls that fall vertically and conduct observations from experiments to describe how the bounce of a ball may be impacted by size, weight, or material. Grade: Pre-K and K
