Course Description: Younger students will be supported with exploring what they like to read, how to choose books, and making connections from self to the characters and stories we love. Sessions will include a read aloud of picture books, reading practice, shared read of a chapter book, and an artistic book project or activity. Older students will participate in shared reading and novel studies, and will "buddy up" with younger students. Instructor: Alisha DiPalma Instructor Bio: Mrs. DiPalma has always enjoyed helping students learn to read ever since her senior project, helping a 3rd grader. Mrs. DiPalma has taught Kindergarten and PE at PANN, she has a Bachelors of Science degree in Recreation & Tourism Management and enjoys finding an adventure whether it’s in a book or going on a hike.
