The Penn State Golf Day Camps are designed to assist junior players with the fundamentals to raise their level of competence as a competitive golfer. We will address rules and etiquette, course management, full and short game skills necessary to play at the next level and competitive strategies and games. College coaches will be on hand to assist players who wish to play beyond their high school years! A major goal of the camp is to help players transfer their skills to the golf course while improving their course strategies. Presentations of specific skills and proper practice habits are designed to enhance the performance of the players. We believe in educating the technical and human skills necessary to playing the game at an optimal level. During the camp, 18 or 9 holes of golf will be played each day, depending on the time available. Instruction will include course management, strategies, self-management skill for optimal performance, short game skills and full swing awareness. Camp will run from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Day 1 to Day 3 and from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Day 4.
