Taekwondo is composed of three parts as shown in the English spelling, though it is one word in Korean. "Tae" means "foot", "leg", or "to step on"; Kwon means "fist", or "fight"; and Do means the "way" or "discipline". It is a discipline of foot and fist. Today, Martial Arts are studied for various reasons including combat skills, sport, fitness, self defense, self cultivation (meditation), mental discipline, character development and building self confidence. There is a one time, non-refundable $40 uniform fee paid to the instructor at the first class.
Adults are welcome to register with their children. There is a one-time fee paid to the instructor at the first class (non-refundable) for uniform ($40 children, $50 for adult).
