About This Activity

Caregiver-Accompanied Program Ages 4-6 years Maximum ratio (Chipmunks:Staff) is 12*:2 *Each Chipmunks participant will be accompanied by a caregiver $155 for 6 sessions Every Friday September 18, September 25, October 2, October 9, October 16, October 23 1-3pm Get outside! Kids and their caregivers will explore the natural wonders of High Park while learning tons about the amazing plants and animals that live here. This is a creative, active group that loves to have fun. Participants and their caregivers will learn about the ecology of High Park through play, inquiry, direct experience, stewardship action and observation. Our activities are guided by the seasons and weather conditions. Some areas of focus will likely include: - Sensing the changing seasons through hearing, smell, taste, touch and sight - Nature crafting - Reading stories - Playing nature games - Completing nature challenges, such as moving like different animals! - Hiking to some of High Park’s places of natural wonder - Wildlife tracking & bird watching - Animal and plant identification
