Back after a two-year COVID hiatus, we are excited to offer our children’s Bike Camp once more. This is the camp to be in for the little riders out there who may be learning how to ride or who have picked it up and want a little something more. Whether it is basic balance, riding on grass or asphalt, or navigating a woodsy trail, our staff is prepared to help your little guy gain more confidence on their bike and have fun in camp. Our 60-acre campus serves as the backdrop for skills instruction, bike games, and fun activities that take place in this half day camp. We also have access to the pool, gymnasium, and classrooms should there be any foul weather or just to cool off from the summer heat. Come learn to ride your bike better with us, meet new friends, and have a great camp experience. Our staff has a combined 40+ years’ experience in education and outdoor recreation. Mr. Keeney and Mr. Glorioso run several outdoor clubs on campus, coach the Maryland Interscholastic Cycling League (MICL) race team at Loyola Blakefield as well as their teaching responsibilities. They have been running outdoor clubs and camps for the last two decades respectively and look forward to working with your child(ren) during this week of camp. Campers must provide their own bike and helmet. If you have any questions about an appropriate camp placement for your child, please email Mike Keeney at mkeeneyii@loyolablakefield.org
