About This Activity
Description
This class is intended for students who are new to painting as well as those who feel they have a basic understanding of painting. Students will follow a step-by-step guide to painting that covers techniques such as brush stroke, color theory, scale, value, shapes, and composition. Paintings will focus on still life and landscape. Even the most tentative amateur will develop confidence and skill. Shared painting materials will be provided in class, and students may bring their own supplies. Students will be given a lunch break.
Registration includes lab fee for materials and studio use. Students should bring an apron or clothes to paint in.
