About This Activity
Explore technology in a fun and creative environment. In this event, you will be able to learn the fundamental tech and coding skills needed to create your own games. You will be guided by UBC undergraduates on the foundations of the gaming world. The Level 2 event is designed for students is Grade 5-7. Level 2 events are designed for students who are comfortable with coding, especially block coding using Scratch or similar platforms. Join this event if you are already familiar and confident with the basics of block coding, can type proficiently and would like to participate in an intermediate level event. We recommend you to bring your laptop to this event, laptops will be provided if you are not able to. This is a repeat event of the event on 29th October 2022, curriculum and content will remain the same.
