About This Activity
Learn how to enhance your table saw for more consistent, functional, and proficient project execution. This course will focus on creating a crosscut jig and a miter jig for the table saw. Each student will be able to build and bring home one of these types of jigs. Please note that we will be making jigs for our Saw Stop table saw. The learned skills will translate to all brands of table saws but the jig you build may not work on your home machine. Classroom discussion will cover what jigs are, how to use them effectively, and types of jigs for other shop machines.
