Yoga isn't just for grown-ups anymore! Yoga for children promotes physical strength and muscular endurance. It helps to build balance, coordination, flexibility and body awareness. In addition, it can enhance concentration and a sense of calmness. Centered on a weekly them, children will learn breathing techniques as well as participate in games, partner poses, stories and creative expressions. Yoga for children is all this in a non-competitive and fun environment. Participants should dress to be active and may bring a blanket or beach towel for "shavasana" the ending relaxing pose. This is a drop-off program.
