Fly Tying and Fly Rod Basics 4th & 5th Graders, Thursdays, 3:00 - 4:30 p.m. (90 minutes) $80 Regular $72 Reduced for students regularly enrolled in Summit Afterschool during this class Nov 21, Dec 5 No class Nov 28 Led by Chris Culp, hobbyist, fly fisher, and Director of Technology at Summit. Learn the art of crafting your own fishing flies and the essentials of using a fly rod to make a perfect cast. Discover the joy of creating your own flies that can be used on your own fishing trips. Whether you're new to the sport or looking to refine your skills, this class offers a fulfilling experience from start to finish. All supplies and equipment included. This class will prepare you to fish, but we will not be able to actually fish in our allotted time.
