Tween Musical Theatre (Monday) Live and in person! Experience: None Needed Rehearsals: 6-8th Graders: Performers will rehearse every Monday from 5-7:30pm & every Sunday 5-7:30pm. Auditions & Casting: Each performer who enrolls will perform in TWO casts. One cast will be their main show (larger role with lines and a solo, duet, or feature) and an ensemble show (smaller role, dancing and singing in all group numbers). New Additions To The Program - Fall 2022 We are streamlining the way we place our shows on performance weekends. Outside of religious and school activities, we can not accommodate any other special requests. We ask that you be available for the selected dates (for your age group) for our casting purposes. This would be no different from a dance studio or sports team and it will allow our directors and casting team more flexibility to cast each kid exactly where they want them to be. You will be placed in two of these performances. Friday, December 2nd, 7:30 pm Evening Show Saturday, December 3rd, 7 pm Evening Show Sunday, December 4th, 7 pm Evening Show Friday, December 9th, 7 pm Evening Show Saturday, December 10th, 7 pm Evening Show Sunday, December 11th, 7 pm Evening Show Program Duration: 4 months What Happens In Rehearsals? Kids will work in an interactive and creative environment where they will be taught singing, dancing, acting, and choreography specific to the musical being rehearsed. Who Teaches The Kids? Our program is run by our Creative Director, Jessica Lauren, (MFA Acting, New School University) and Ally Mulholland (AMDA) and supported by a number of assistant directors who are skilled in various aspects of theatre and child development.
