About This Activity
Kids Musical Theatre at Woodland Hills Private School (Monday) Experience: All experience levels are encouraged to enroll! Rehearsals: 1st-5th Graders: Performers will rehearse every Monday from 3 - 4:30pm Auditions & Casting: Each performer who enrolls will perform in TWO casts. One cast will be their primary show (larger featured role) and an ensemble show (smaller role, dancing and singing in major group numbers). Some performers will be cast in age-appropriate featured roles that they will perform twice. Program Duration: Fall Production (October, 2024 - March, 2025) Session Capacity Waitlist registrations will open once we hit capacity. Performance Weekend(s) and Casting All performances will take place during the weekend of March 14th-16th, 2025. Your performer will perform in a minimum of two performances. (Performance days include Thursday through Sunday). We do our best to accommodate pre-noted religious and school activities. We can not accommodate any other special requests with show days. These conflicts must be included at the time of casting. This will allow our directors and casting team more flexibility to cast each kid exactly where they want them to be. Siblings will be cast in the same cast(s). Casting friends is not a guarantee. What Happens In Rehearsals? Kids will work in an interactive and creative environment where they will be taught singing, dancing, acting, and choreography specific to the musical being rehearsed.
