About This Activity
This program is designed for high school women from Worcester Public Schools grades 10 & 11 to engage in a semester of STEM research with female WPI graduate and undergraduate student mentors. Participants will work with their mentors on a lab project virtually each week. There will also be three Saturday morning sessions (January 29th, March 5th, and April 9th) A stipend will be paid to each participant upon successful completion of the semester. This program is funded through a Women's Impact Network grant. Preference is given to young women in Worcester Public Schools. COVID-19 vaccination is required to participate in this program. Proof of vaccination is needed. If seeking an exemption for disability/medical or religious reasons, please email pop@wpi.edu.
