Acting Skills: Monologue
May 15 - Jun 05 (Saturday)
11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Ages 7-16 · Co-Ed
Yorba Linda Cultural Arts Center
Performing a monologue is one of the biggest challenges for most young performers onstage or in an audition room. The only way to gain confidence and improve is by practicing in front of supportive peers that understand the challenges. Students will learn to avoid top monologue mistakes, and find solutions for auditioning or just preparing for an oral speech at school. As students learn techniques that help them speak with confidence, they will begin to relax and enjoy the process and just have fun.
Participants also enrolled in Acting Skills: Cold Reading are welcome to stay in the room and have their lunch during the break 12pm-12:30pm. Instructor will be present in the room.
