I honestly believe my calling in life is to be a father. Some people are passionate about advancing their careers, or seeing the world, or championing a noble cause; that’s all well and good, but my passion, purpose and motivation has always been family.
That being said, I’m also a realist who knows that raising a kid takes a lot of work. It’s not all playing tickle monster and celebrating major milestones; there are also a lot of dirty diapers, discipline and dollars between those milestones. Like any job, there are fun parts that you love and not-so-fun parts that nobody wants to deal with.
