About This Activity

Reward yourself for all those hot summer days in the sun, with crisp air, picturesque New Mexico landscape and lots of fun! Join us for a family oriented, Halloween - Day of the Dead Themed charitable bike ride ( 7, 12, 18 Mile Family Ride, 23, 47, 61 & Century. The 16th annual Day of the Tread has a treat for everyone. Whichever route you choose, all participants will enjoy a Saturday Packet Pick-up, Sunday pre-event motivation gathering (Sawmill District / Old Town), post ride celebration at the new SAWMILL MARKET with food - beverage - entertainment, courses full of music, themed recharge zones and crazy contests. Costumes are encouraged but not required; we will be awarding prizes for the best human costumes and best bike creativity. So...If you like memorable routes filled with surprises, dressing up in costume, putting on face paint or wigs, come join us as your favorite suger skull, monster, super hero, ghost or goblin. Come join fun and show your support for Pegasus Legal Services for Children, Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation's Adaptive Cycling Team and other NM Children and Family charities.

Enjoy our new location and partnership in Albuquerque's vibrant Sawmill Distict / Old Town (Start / Finish on 20th St. NW). In the heart of the ride activity find Hotel Chaco, Hotel Albuquerque, Sawmill Market and the merchants of Albuquerque's Historic Old Town plus the NM Museum of Natural History, EXPLORA & Mama's Minerals.
