Class is for children 4-10 years old with a disability.
Classes focus on proprioceptive, vestibular, and deep pressure inputs to engage all participants in the structured setting. Our adaptive coaches will work with the individual needs of the small group in the program.
This class takes place at Bermuda Dunes Community Center in a different location from the District Gymnastics program.
Please complete the TR/Additional Information Form prior to class start date for the instructors to be informed and prepared to welcome your child into class. This document can be downloaded from the registration page.
Parental assistance in class may be requested if your child requires additional assistance.
FREE WITH AN ADAPTIVE PROGRAM MEMBERSHIP
Adaptive/Therapeutic programs are designed specifically for individuals with special needs and disabilities. Participant's family members are encouraged to attend programs to provide positive reinforcement and support when needed.
An additional information form must be completed, in addition to the standard waiver, prior to the class start date. The paperwork can be downloaded from the DRD website.
