The Spring Swim Team 8- week program is designed to build on competitive swimming skills with a focus on improving technique, endurance, and speed. Time trials will serve as competitive measures. There will be no dual meets. Participants learn lane etiquette, pace clock aides, and additional skills needed to be a member on a swim team. It's a great way to meet new friends, keep kids active, and continue to introduce them to a swim team experience. Prerequisite: Participants must have participated on a swim team previously. Participants must also have the ability to swim one lap of freestyle and one lap of backstroke without stopping.
