For children ages 6 to 10, who are interested in participating in a group-lesson format. Learn how to approach the piano, finger shapes, movement and rhythm along the keyboard.
These are six, one-hour classes that provide a structured environment to help lay a quick foundation for young beginning piano students. This is a small class that is ideal for a child who has never touched a piano before...but interested in making music! Keyboards are provided in the classroom.
This class includes a concert proponent and will be presenting on stage, at the annual Culpeperpalooza on April 21st, 2024. This event is held at Mountain Run Winery and is a great family fun weekend event. It will feature sample exercises and a song, to highlight their classwork during the program.
If you are a beginner - join in! If our class fills, we may offer a second class if the interest supports. Please register for the waiting list.
NOTE: Attendance is required for all classes; please let us know when you register if there are any planned absences.
