This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. As a volunteer you will assist the YMCA staff with maintaining a safe, structured, and fun program for Child Watch, Kids Club, and/or Camp participants.Tasks and activities may include:
- Beginner and Intermediate classes available
- Youth ages 5+
- Volunteer is expected to teach either/or beginner and intermediate skills of chess.
- Assist the program staff in maintaining a safe environment for children
