About this event

Description

We're sorry, but this activity is over. The last meeting was Thursday, April 25, 2024.

Art for All Abilities classes are a safe space for individuals with disabilities to join in on the classes offered by WCPR art instructors. If you do not have a disability, we kindly ask you leave the spots in this class open for those who do. Participation in Art for All Abilities classes is free to participants, but pre-registration is required as spaces are limited.
Thursday, April 25 - Watercolor Crayon Monsters
Join instructor Kaelyn Terry in creating a watercolor crayon monster! This class will demonstrate the "crayon resist method." Students will start by drawing their monsters with crayons on watercolor paper. After their monster is drawn, students will create an environment for the monster to live in with watercolor paint. Like magic, the crayon resists the paint so all of the spooky monster details stay safe and dry.
Students should expect to use crayons and paintbrushes. Students who require additional assistance may bring an adult with them.
PALS Program (People at Leisure with Support): A caregiver is required to stay with those needing support.
The Art for All Abilities Program is made possible by contributions from the Tennessee Arts Commission.
For questions, please contact Liz.Friend@williamsoncounty-tn.gov. If you register but can no longer attend, please notify Liz so we can open the space to another participant.
