For students who have completed one session of the Beginner class or are currently in the Faber Primer Book (purple). The goal of this class is to prepare the student for a successful move into the Faber Level 1 Lesson Book (red). Students will engage in fun musical games, activities and exercises at the piano as they develop a solid understanding of notes values, time signatures, dynamics and reading the treble and bass clef. Exercises in improvisation and composition enhance their musical development. Students will showcase their work in a Spring recital in April. More information will be shared closer to the date. $20 materials fee is due the first day of class.
