Babysitter’s Training C, S, A, Ad Mary Ann Beebe Center, Harvard, IL $65/Girl Scout; $20/Adult Chaperone GSNI Voucher Eligible Sat–Sun, May 11–12, 2024 (overnight) 10 a.m.–10 a.m. Register by April 19, 2024 Start your babysitting business on the right foot and learn how to be a safe, professional, and reliable sitter. During this overnight training, you will learn basics of care for infants and children, child behavior, age-appropriate activities, emergency protocols, professionalism, leadership, and more! Receive your American Red Cross Babysitting certification in addition to Pediatric First Aid and CPR/AED and add even more value to your clients. Cadettes will also earn their Babysitter badge! Note: Illinois Department of Child and Family Services require youth to be 14 years or older to babysit. Training is available for Cadette Girl Scouts to prepare for future babysitting careers. Certification is for youth participants only. Adults who wish to attend and chaperone will not receive certification. Due to limited size of the class, participants are not required to bring adult chaperones.
