This camp trains participants with the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize, and respond to aquatic emergencies. Certification includes: Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer through the American Red Cross. Attendance is mandatory for all classes! Fee includes resuscitation mask and fanny pack. Prerequisites will be required to enter class. They include: Swim 150 yards continuously to demonstrate your breath control. Tread water without using your arms for 2 minutes; arms should be placed under armpits. Swim 50 yards. Complete a timed event on the lifeguarding course in 1 minute and 40 seconds.
ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL NEED TO PASS A PRE-COURSE SWIM ON FRIDAY MAY 10 AT 5:00PM.
