About this event
At the completion of ESL Level 1, learners will be able to understand and use common everyday expressions and simple phrases for immediate needs, introduce themselves and other people, ask/answer questions, and function successfully utilizing basic English language structures. Level 1 provides ESL learners ample practice time and opportunities to help build confidence as they navigate in the four skill areas – speaking, reading, writing, and listening – while continuing to learn and stay connected. Prerequisite: Completed placement assessment. Textbook and materials provided.
