Parker Therapeutic Recreation has teamed up with Square Peg Therapies to bring you an exciting run/walk program! Individuals with disabilities and their families will train for 8 weeks and build confidence, strength, balance, and friendships! This program will use a unique approach to combining the principles of pediatric physical and occupational therapy with the components of sensory-motor benefits of running and walking.
Level of Instruction: All levels welcome, adaptations can be made when needed. See our Therapeutic Recreation (TR) policies for information on levels of medical and personal support required. www.ParkerRec.com/TRPolicies

Registration Instructions: Class Requirements: A completed Therapeutic Recreation Assessment Form will need to be turned in to Heather prior to participation. Wear athletic clothes and running shoes, bring a water bottle full of water or sports drink. Please have your child eat a healthy snack beforehand, a light snack will be provided after the walk/run. Equipment: All equipment will be supplied. Skip Dates: March 14
