This activity is closed to further registration.
This assessment is for those who are new to the Plano Parks & Recreation system, American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim programs, or those who have had years between previous classes. At no additional charge, participants may come to Oak Point Recreation Center for a swim-level assessment using the American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim program criteria. Participants must be at least six-years-old. Participants will be in the water for approximately 5 minutes and tested on swim skills (front crawl, back crawl, breaststroke, elementary backstroke, etc.). This assessment does not guarantee registration spots for participants. NOTE: Participants will not be accompanied in the water. Participants who are not comfortable in the water independently do not need an assessment and should enroll in Level 1.
