We're sorry, but this activity is over. The last meeting was Saturday, April 13, 2024.
The Lifeguarding program will train lifeguards to act with speed and confidence in emergency situations both in and out of the water. Topics include water rescue skills, surveillance and recognition, first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies, CPR, AED, and more. The new program reflects the latest Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) science.
- Participants must be 15 years old on or before the last day of class.
- Prerequisites for the training include a continuous 300-yard swim demonstrating breath control and rhythmic breathing, treading water for 2 minutes using only the legs, and a timed 10-pound brick retrieval, so please be prepared.
- Thursday April 4th - 4:30pm-8:00pm
- Friday April 5th - 4:30pm-8:00pm
- Saturday April 6th - 9:00am-5:00pm
- Thursday April 11th - 4:30pm-8:00pm
- Friday April 12th - 4:30pm-8:00pm
- Saturday April 13th - 9:00am-5:00pm
