Kids Musical Theatre at Mariposa (Wednesday) Experience: All experience levels are encouraged to enroll! Rehearsals: 1st-8th Graders: Performers will rehearse every Wednesday from 1:15 pm to 3:15 pm. (3:15 pm to 3:45 pm will be utilized for specialty roles each week). Auditions & Casting: Each performer who enrolls will perform in TWO casts. One cast will be their main show with a featured part and an ensemble show (smaller role, dancing and singing in major group numbers). Some performers will be cast in age-appropriate featured roles that they will perform twice. Program Duration: Fall Semester (Mid September - Late January) What Happens In Rehearsals? Kids will work in an interactive and creative environment where they will be taught singing, dancing, acting, and choreography specific to the musical being rehearsed. Who Teaches The Kids? Our program is directed by Tiffany Vallerga and led by our Artistic Director, Jessica Alexander, (MFA Acting, New School University), and supported by a number of directors and choreographers who are skilled in various aspects of theatre and performance.
