This course is designed for students who know sewing basics and want to learn practical clothing repairs, alterations, and garment styling skills. Students will learn how to sew on buttons, hem a garment, repair seams, take in or let out a garment, and make simple style adjustments to clothing. Students should bring three garments to class: 1) an item to hem, 2) an item to take in or let out, and 3) an item of their choice to repair or alter.
