CONCERT MARCH 30, 2026 7:00 PM ETHERREDGE CENTER MAIN STAGE The Band Class is designed for participants with little to no experience playing music. Topics include reading music and its notation, instrument specific instruction, and ensemble rehearsal. Participants are required to provide their own instrument. The course instructor can provide guidance on renting or purchasing quality instruments Matt Henderson is a lecturer at USCA. He teaches Applied Brass Lessons, Jazz Band, Form and Analysis, World Music and Rock ‘n Roll History. Additionally, Mr. Henderson holds degrees from the Lynn University Conservatory of Music and the University of South Carolina Columbia. He performs regularly around the CSRA with various brass quintets, orchestras, The Garden City Bones (trombone quintet), The Experiment and the I-20 Horns (rock band), and is the Director at St. Augustine of Canterbury Episcopal in South Aiken.
