About This Activity
This camp is designed to provide dancers with the tools to build on their character and storytelling skills as performers. Dancers have a unique understanding of their instrument like no other artist. While actors tell a story with words, dancers are able to tell a story with just their bodies. Through this camp, dancers will be introduced to a variety of ideas and topics through active discussions and movement exercises while also using acting exercises such as improvisation and pantomime to bring out the fun, and exploration in their dancing as they work to putting on a beautiful story devoid of words.
