About This Activity
Students will read and write narratives that captivate and ignite imaginations. Narrative writing encourages students to express real or imagined stories creatively in an organized, chronological fashion by helping them visualize experiences. Students will also learn more about folklore, which includes traditional beliefs and customs, the forms and rituals of celebrations, folk dances, and initiation rites. Folklore is an expression of cultural beliefs that aids to our understanding of humanity.
