Street Skills Camp coaches kids on safe and legal road riding through fun games, challenges and riding adventures around the island. 7:2 Ratio We're more than a fun summer camp, we do individualized coaching with each camper to help them advance their skills on bikes and understand traffic laws,communicate with drivers for safest, predictable riding habits. Practicing using gears, 4-way stop intersection practice of right of way with car traffic on Bay Farm. Alameda Amazing Race using bike maps, Rides to schools, practice locking at schools, Scavenger hunt. REQUIREMENTS 1. Student and parent/guardian MUST register and attend a free 1.5 hour Urban Cycling zoom presentation together prior to camp. Saturday, June 13, 12:30pm-2:00 or July 11, 12:30-2:00 2. Parents or guardians, call your bike shop to find out when you can take rider with their bike to visit a bike shop for fit and mechanic/safety check. There can be a wait of several weeks so don't wait. 3. Kids must bring all items on equipment list or purchase available items from Easy Street Cycling.
