"This is a fun way to introduce the Phases of Matter to students using Slime. For the younger kids Slime is a fantastic tool for sensory play, and to develop fine motor strength. Students learn to differentiate between Non-Newtonian Liquids, mixtures, and suspensions. One question we ask kids is Slime a liquid or a solid? Learning measuring techniques and lessons in chemical reactions, students have a fun learning experience in Science. Each class's new variations of slime are created by participants. Students explore Magnetic slime, Radioactive-Looking Slime, Glow in the Dark Slime, Thermochromic Color Change Slime, Floam, Edible Blood Slime (It Glows!) and Glitter Slime."
