About This Activity
Pack your imagination and hop into the time machine—Artistic Time Travelers Camp takes K–5th graders on a creative journey through history! From ancient civilizations to modern masterpieces, campers will explore the art, stories, and cultures of different eras, discovering how people expressed themselves across time. Each day, young artists will create paintings, sculptures, collages, and mixed media projects inspired by the sights, colors, and ideas of the past—then put their own imaginative twist on history. Along the way, campers will play, explore, and even take gallery “field trips” to see how real artists captured the world around them. By the end of the week, every camper will have a collection of original artworks that travel across time, showcasing their creativity, curiosity, and unique artistic voice.
