About This Activity
Get ready for a wild week of creative experiments at Mad Scientist Art Camp! Designed for K–5th graders, this camp blends art and science in mind-blowing ways. Campers will explore electrifying art techniques like fizzing watercolor reactions, glow-in-the-dark paintings, and gravity-powered splatter art. They'll also dive into hands-on projects such as sculpting crazy creatures, designing wacky inventions, and mixing up their own colorful, swirling "potions." Between creative lab sessions, students will visit the gallery for inspiration, enjoy indoor and outdoor playtime, and refuel with snack and lunch breaks. Whether they’re painting, building, or experimenting, young artists will have a blast bringing their imaginative ideas to life—mad scientist style!
