About This Activity
Join us for this one-day workshop. Through visual art, photography, and poetry, 4th and 5th graders are invited to explore identity and storytelling in this dynamic workshop series led by high school artists from the Evan Garrett Young Teaching Artist Collective. Sessions Included: Visualizing the Invisible: Multimedia Art Teaching Artist: Kira Kampschmidt This workshop explores the idea that what makes each person unique isn’t always something you can see. We’ll think about things like feelings, personality, and imagination—and how they are different for everyone. Through art, we’ll experiment with color, texture, and shape to show these “invisible” parts of ourselves in creative and meaningful ways.
