About This Activity
Students will experience the marimba, xylophone, and vibraphone as they learn the techniques required to play these exciting instruments. They will explore traditional marimba band music through basic musical notation and by ear. Each student will rotate through the different melodic, harmonic, and rhythmic positions of the marimba band. Instruments will be provided.
