About This Activity
Instructor: Doug Montoya Saturdays, 10:00am to 12:00pm February 26 - April 2, 2022 Ages 8 - 14 Experience: All levels welcome Film & TV Acting One is an intro level class for young actors looking to learn and practice on camera acting skills. Spend each week tackling a different stage of film and television performance from auditioning to working on a live set. Learn the difference between theater and film while recreating your favorite on camera performances. Students will choose a famous character from film or television and practice on camera technique using proper breath, movement and vocal skills. In addition to performance training for students, parents will be given practical information for putting together a headshot and resume, submitting for roles and auditioning both at home and in person. By the end of the class students and parents will have a foundational understanding of the film and television casting process along with practical skills for acting on camera. $180
