Alden Gap is a site rich in history and biodiversity. We will learn what the "gap" refers to, as well as history of the railroads that ran through here and the restoration efforts that the District has been leading. We expect to view unique wildlife such as the Bob-o-link in its joyous, bubbly breeding song. Binoculars will be available for use, but please bring your own if you prefer. The specific meeting location instructions will be sent to all participants via email the week of the program. Parking space is limited, so please carpool if possible.
Registration is required.
