Description
Winkler Botanical Preserve is excited to host the Genealogy Merit Badge on May 18, 2024.
This Merit Badge consists of one-hour long classroom session. Same day completion requires fulfilment of prerequisites.Prerequisites:Requirement 3: Interview relative or family acquaintance, take notes.Requirement 4c: Obtain one genealogical document supporting an event recorded on your pedigree chart.Requirement 5: Contact one of the listed resources in the Merit Badge Workbook, ask what records, services or activities the place provides.Requirement 6: Begin your family tree listing yourself and at least two generations.Requirement 7: Complete a family group record listing yourself and your siblings as the children, complete a second family group record listing one of your parents and their siblings as the children.
Please bring a signed blue card.
Participants are required to read and accept the Assumption of Risk and Indemnification Agreement during the registration process.
