Description
Scouts will have the opportunity to earn the Emergency Preparedness Merit Badge.
Through lecture, discussion, activities, and demonstrations, scouts will “Be Prepared” for emergencies, understand how emergency management works on a local and national level and enable their households to prepare for the unexpected. Scouts must have prerequisites completed at time of class for same day Merit Badge completion. Counselor is available to sign off on requirements completed after day of class.
Prerequisites:Req. 1 -First Aid Merit BadgeReq. 2b -chart with 10 emergency situationsReq. 2c -Family meeting regarding req.2bReq 8b- bring pack and kit or pictures of pack and kit Bring a signed blue card.
