About This Activity
---Instructor: Ashley Hammond--- It’s time for an adventure and there is a great big world to explore! Students will use their bodies, voices, and imaginations to create fun characters while bringing a story to life onstage! Students will see the hard work and dedication it takes to put up a stage production and will learn how a play is put together. They will learn self-discipline, self-expression, how to work as an ensemble, and will gain awareness of themselves and others. The course offers new content each season, allowing students to continue to grow and learn. Students will then use these new skills in a short play for family and friends in two productions on the LTA stage for the Spring Showcases, May 3rd & 4th. Some early evening rehearsals will be required during the week of April 28. (No classes 2/15, 3/29, 4/12 & 4/19).
