Celebrating the 126th year, Audubon's Christmas Bird Count is an annual winter bird census where thousands of volunteers across North America go out to count birds. Participate in this valuable documentation of bird species right here in North Park. No previous experience necessary: each registrant will be in a group led by an experienced birder as they carpool/caravan to document assigned areas of the park.Binoculars highly recommended (but not required). A limited number of binoculars are available for loan by request.

Accessible birding opportunities such as wheelchair accessible areas, stationary birding and car-birding available - email or call for more information. Rose Barn has ramps allowing access.
