Description
To enroll in the Teen Adventure the SUMMER CAMP - APPLICATION (WILLS PARK, WILLS PARK: EXTREME, & TEEN ADVENTURE) must be completed prior to enrolling in the sessions for this camp. The Application must be completed on a separate transaction.TEEN ADVENTURES DROP OFF AND PICKUP IS LOCATED AT THE ALPHARETTA COMMUNITY CENTER: 175 ROSWELL ST. ALPHARETTA, GA 30009
Take a tour of the Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta's multi-purpose sports facility in Braselton. Get a "behind the scenes" look at some of the fastest and heart pumping races.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Registration can be done online or in person. The registration packet has been replaced with the SUMMER CAMP - APPLICATION (WILLS PARK, EXTREME & TEEN ADVENTURES). this application must be completed first to register for this activity of TEEN ADVENTURES. If you have questions please e-mail recreation@alpharetta.ga.us. You will not be able to register for the weekly sessions until the application activity is completely processed.
AGE REQUIREMENTS
Age requirements have been established to safely facilitate age-appropriate activities. Campers will be placed into groups according to their age.COMMUNICATION
On-going communication between staff, parents, and teen is critical to your child achieving a successful and fun adventure. If at any time you need to share information, concerns, or compliments, we encourage you to speak with a staff member. To contact your child during their adventure, please call (678) 297-6100.
LUNCH
Please bring money for lunch, a water bottle, and snacks.
SIGN IN/SIGN OUT PROCEDURES
For the safety of each child, all attendees must be checked in and checked out. Attendees may only be picked up and signed out by an authorized person (indicated at time of registration). Attendees may not check themselves in or out. Please be ready to show a photo I.D. to a staff member.
EVENT ATTIRE & PERSONAL ITEMS
All attendees should wear comfortable clothing. Participants are required to wear closed toe athletic shoes (no flip-flops). Please no cell phones. Participants are discouraged from bringing personal items such as electronics, jewelry or items of value. Participants are responsible for their personal possessions. The City of Alpharetta Recreation Parks & Cultural Services Department is not responsible for loss or damage to personal items brought to camp.
SUN PROTECTION
Many activities are outdoors, your child is at risk for sunburn. Your child should arrive with sunscreen already applied, as well as with additional sunscreen.
MEDICATION
If your child needs medicine while on their adventure, you will need to fill out an Authorization to Give Medication at Camp Form or an Over-the-Counter Medication Permission Form.
ILLNESSES
For the protection of all participants and staff, any child believed to have an infectious illness should not attend. If a staff member becomes aware that your child is sick, the parent or guardian will be called to pick up the child.
