Description
Celebrate Juneteenth in this printmaking workshop inspired by American printer, book artist, and papermaker, Amos Paul Kennedy Jr. and his bright impactful letterpress work! In this unique all-ages workshop, participants will get to pick from a selection of pre-printed backgrounds, draw or create their own backgrounds, and then print letterpress sayings on top using a small tabletop proofing press and preset Wood-type phrases celebrating African American culture. No experience is necessary. All ages are welcome (children under 13 should have a parent/guardian). Materials included!Age Group
